Umesh Bajaj – Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Umesh Bajaj is the founder and CEO of HealthAsyst Private Limited. Umesh
formed HealthAsyst in 1999 and as the CEO has nurtured the organization to be a
leading provider of information technology services for the healthcare industry
today.
Prior to forming HealthAsyst, Umesh was Chief Executive of the Healthcare Division
of Wipro Technologies from 1996 to 1999. Earlier, Umesh has served for over a decade
in Wipro InfoTech where he held a number of senior management roles including Chief
Executive- Financial Systems, Vice President - Transactions Systems, General Manager
- Sales. Through most part of his career with Wipro, he was member of the Wipro
InfoTech’s Executive Council.
Umesh started his career in sales and marketing in 1975 with DCM Data Products,
a pioneer in India for developing minicomputer systems after the departure of IBM
from the country. He grew to become the Regional Sales Manager - South, in DCM before
he left to join Wipro InfoTech.
Umesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from
Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and a Post Graduate Diploma in International
Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

Nagarajan Sankaran – Chief Operating Officer
Nagarajan Sankaran brings a wealth of experience, with over 30 years of experience
in the IT industry and over 10 years of experience working in Healthcare IT. He
is responsible for managing the support functions at HealthAsyst and oversees critical
functions including Human Resources, Administration, and IT Infrastructure.
Nagarajan has held various senior management positions managing delivery and operations
in reputed IT companies in India and abroad. He has a global experience of working
with clients in U.S.A, Europe, Japan, Middle East and India and also has vast experience
in areas such as product development, project management, sales & marketing.
Nagarajan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious
Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and holds a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering
from Tulane University, U.S.A

Bijoy Singha – Chief Technology Officer
Bijoy Singha brings with him a rich experience of over 15 years in the Healthcare
domain as a technology innovator and IT strategist. At HealthAsyst, Bijoy heads
the product development group involved in building cutting edge solution for Healthcare
Industry.
Prior to HealthAsyst, Bijoy has served as the Chief Technology Officer of Zeroton
Inc. and as a Director in Velos. Bijoy has rich experience in leading product development
efforts and in building and managing product development teams in the Healthcare
domain.
Bijoy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from the prestigious
National Institute of Technology, Silchar. |

Rakesh Dharwadkar – Delivery Head
Rakesh Dharwadkar brings with him over 12 years of deep experience in the IT industry
with specialization in the Healthcare and Industrial Automation domains. At HealthAsyst,
he is responsible for delivery of software services for customers in Pharma Marketing
& Healthcare transaction business.
Prior to HealthAsyst, he has held various project management positions at Dell International
Services where he gained rich experience in project initiation, delivery and support
in the on-site offshore development model.
Rakesh holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from
Gulbarga University, Karnataka. |

Malora Fernandes – Delivery Head
Malora Fernandes brings with her over 12 years of industry experience primarily
in the field of Software Testing and Project Management. At HealthAsyst, she manages
delivery of software services in the Electronic Health Record area.
Prior to HealthAsyst, she was Software QA Manager at the Canadian Institute for
Health Information, Toronto, Canada where she was instrumental in developing & implementing
software development methodologies and change management processes for the 300-
member organization.
Malora holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Wollongong,
Australia. She is also a Certified Software Test Engineer from the QAI Institute
in Florida USA, and has worked in Banking and Healthcare domains across the Middle
East & Canada.

Chinmoy Mishra – Business Development Manager
Chinmoy Mishra draws from over Six years of experience in the Healthcare domain
and is responsible for building the business for HealthAsyst software products globally.
Prior to HealthAsyst, he gained rich experience in a variety of project management
roles at Infosys Technologies Ltd. Chinmoy prides on his deep expertise in claims
processing and on regulatory subjects such as HIPAA and Sarbanes Oxley .
Chinmoy holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from NIT, Rourkela and a MBA
degree in Global Management and Strategy Planning from Babson College, Boston. He
was the president of Babson Entrepreneurship Club and a recipient of the Babson
fellowship and Babson Global Student leadership awards.
