ONC HIT Certification

Stay Ahead on Industry Standards with ONC HIT 2015 Certification
Get certified to achieve a 90 day consecutive performance period in 2019
Both the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and Advanced Alternative Payment Models (APMs) need physicians to use ONC-ATCB certified EHR technology.
Where are you in the race towards ONC Certification?

Why should you act on your ONC HIT 2015 Edition Certification now?

To participate in incentive programs like MIPS and Promoting Interoperability, you need a 90 day performance period in 2019. That means, October 2019 is the deadline for eligible clinicians to start using a 2015 edition certified software.
While CMS has already pushed back the deadline for 2015 Edition once, with the majority of major EHRs certified, chances of further delays are unlikely.

API features covered in the 2015 Edition may form part of future programs. If you do not do it now, you will struggle to meet new regulations that are built on top of the 2015 Edition.
Last but not the least, the ONC Health IT Certification Program implies to your customers if your software meets federal requirements and has useful functionality. This directly impacts the marketability of your software.
